Graptophyllum excelsum or scarlet fuchsia is an Australian native shrub with red flowers for a part-shade location.

Graptophyllum ilicifolium (holly-leaved fuchsia) is similar to G. excelsum but with holly-like leaves that have prickly edges. More shade required than G. excelsum.
