Eligibility: Subscriptions (including trials) are only offered to people located in Australia. Any free or paid subscription request, or associated correspondence, that is suspected of being spam, AI-generated, having a foreign source or sent in error may be blocked or ignored at the discretion of the publisher. Likewise, unreasonable (e.g. multiple free trial requests) or otherwise problematic behaviour. Price includes GST. ABN 38518961623.
Non-delivery of emails: Please allow for occasional delays due to technical issues or other unforeseen problems, but do get in touch if you are not regularly receiving emails (free or paid) as expected because oversights and errors can occur. However, first check that the emails haven't been erroneously sent to the spam or junk folder by your email application and that your inbox hasn't exceeded its limit. It's also possible that emails are actually being blocked entirely by your email provider or that your attempt to redirect emails to another account or desktop application has gone wrong. It won't be possible to reply to queries via email if something at your end is stopping the reply emails as well, so please phone if you don't get a reply in 2-3 days ( Contact Page).
Format/viewing problems, archiving emails: A few people using Microsoft Office on the desktop have had problems with the emails not displaying properly. If this is the case, try opening the emails in a different email reader or directly in the relevant webmail application (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail, etc). Get Results Gardening is delivered in a simple html email format and should be readable using most email applications. To see images, you'll need to allow them (many email programs block images by default) and have an active internet connection. To save a complete email including images for offline viewing or personal archiving, select print and save to PDF or save the page as a complete webpage. If you only download the the .eml file, you won't be able to see the images offline or if the Calyx Horticultural Services website at www.calyx.com.au ceases to operate in the future.
Paid subscription periods: An annual subscription includes the weekly editions issued within a year-long period. The first paid year will commence on the day the first paid-for email is scheduled and renewals will normally commence on the day after the previous paid year ends.
Renewals: Before your paid subscription period ends, you'll receive a separate email asking if you wish to continue to receive the publication by purchasing another paid period. You may also be prompted within editions of Get Results Gardening. If you don't make a request to purchase again, emails will cease after the current subscription ends.
Cancellations and Refunds: After you request a paid subscription or paid renewal, failure to pay by the date requested on the tax invoice may result in the subscription being cancelled and emails stopping. No full or partial refunds are given if you change your mind after you've paid, but you can follow the unsubscribe instructions if you no longer wish to receive the emails. You may be entitled to a partial refund if Calyx Horticultural Services fails to send all the emails agreed to within the subscription period and you have taken reasonable steps to ensure your own internet/email service or device is not the cause of failure (see above) if that is in dispute. It is your responsibility to archive emails for later viewing if you wish to (see above).
Copyright: Intellectual property rights over original text and images is retained by Calyx Horticultural Services. This includes the new, copyrightable component of derived work (if any), subject to whatever conditions might be imposed by the original source (e.g. the requirements of a Creative Commons license).
Content (general): Each edition will usually contain a mix of subject matter, but the amount and type of content included on any given week is at the discretion of the publisher. Occasionally there could be single-topic editions or bonus editions. Content with enduring relevance (plant descriptions, fundamental knowledge, etc) is likely to be repeated eventually.
Privacy and Spam: By subscribing or by otherwise contacting the publisher for any reason, you are agreeing to receive future correspondence from the publisher by email or other means. Your name and contact information will not be sold to third parties. Email addresses and information from emails or elsewhere may be collected for management of the mailing list and for analysis of users/subscribers.
