Spiraea

species, hybrids and cultivars

Family: Roseaceae

Spiraea (often misspelled Spirea) contains a number of cultivated species but relatively few types are grown in Queensland/

Spiraea cantoniensis 'Flora Plena' is the type most widely grown in SE Qld. It would make a great addition to a cottage-style garden or to compliment a heritage Queenslander home.
